Loading Dock Assistant Specialist (Temp)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet delivery drivers and coordinate safe vehicle movement, parking, and unloading
• Accept packages, verify shipment details, and enter information into tracking systems
• Organize and store incoming materials in designated areas, ensuring proper handling
• Assist with routing packages to the appropriate building personnel
• Keep loading dock and storage areas orderly, safe, and compliant with facility rules
• Perform routine inventory checks and support basic property tracking
• Prepare paperwork, logs, and documentation to maintain accurate records
• Follow established security, safety, and access control procedures throughout dock operations

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or similar roles
• Ability to lift, move, and handle packages as part of daily tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must hold an active Secret clearance
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
